Carol McMillin Hacker

Funeral services for Carol J. Hacker, 66, rural Lecompton, were Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial was in Fairlawn Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Mrs. Hacker died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at her home.
She was born Sept. 13, 1941, in Lawrence, the daughter of Eugene S. and Margaret “June” Gaines McMillin. She graduated from Lawrence High School, attended Kansas University and received an office education degree from the state of Kansas in 1982.
Mrs. Hacker was a former business owner. She owned a transcription business and was also president of the SW Investment Company, doing business as The Pool Room.
She attended First Christian Church in Lawrence and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
She married Daniel Hacker on Sept. 28, 1991, in Lawrence. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Greydon Walker, Eudora, and Richard Walker III, Lawrence; a brother; Daniel McMillin, Topeka; and two grandchildren, Cassie and Megan Walker.
