Current Activities: Fishing, camping, cruises and taking trips
Plans for the future: Traveling to Texas, Nebraska, Missouri, Hawaii and other places

2005 Newsletter
Phil retired (as founder and CEO) of Kantronics in 2001. Couldn't stand sitting around so commuted weekly for two-years to work on a radio astronomy project near Amherst, Mass. That just completed, Phil is now working in the local office of American Express Financial Advisors. Spouse Pat (Shawnee Mission North '60 and KU '63) spends her weekdays working at the Kansas Board of Regents, Topeka. They travel frequency to Norman, Okla. to visit Becca (LHS grad '84) and grandkids. Phil visits twice per year with Sherri (Dobbins) Millsap when visiting her brother or the dentist across the hall!

Current Activities: church, travel, family, work, and organizing with wife and other church people an organization called Babies In Need, which provides layettes and car seats to struggling families ( 1100 layettes and 575 car seats so far)

Current Activities: Running my lawnmower service shop, gardening, helping with grandkids.

Current activities: Married 45 years. Retired.
Plans for the future: Just to wake up each morning

Family: Husband John, 1 son, 2 grandchildren, 6 step-children, 8 step-grandchildren
Notes of my life: Widowed in 1999, remarried. Teaching has included elementary school, K-12 ESL, Literature and Comp at university level in the US and abroad (Slovakia, Yugoslavia, Slovakia, Hong Kong)
Current activities: Just retired and moved back to Lawrence to keep an eye on the parents. Living on a small ranch in Jefferson County Plans for the future: Traveling, Skiing, Hiking, Camping. Maybe write another book.
Memories from Lawrence High days: Cold fall Friday nights at football games in Haskell stadium. Slumber parties where we seldom fell asleep. Come-as-you-are breakfasts where we came in pajamas and rollers. Girls Sport Shows.

Notes of my life: Interesting jobs with War on Poverty and Jobs Corp Center, before law school in the 70's.
Current activities: Has been in the field of Elder Law in Oakland, California since the field emerged in the early 80's. Active in the St. Marks Episcopal Church of Berkeley.
Plans for the future: Retire in ‘06
Memories from Lawrence High days: Editing the paper and helping write the class prophesies and wondering how many predictions came true. The 4th of July fireworks at KU stadium.

Family: Husband Ed passed away in January ‘04, 2 children, 2 grandchildren
Notes of my life: Retired from elementary school in 1999 (30 years in the classroom)
Current activities: Keep busy with friends, hobbies, volunteering, family, and Great Dane Molly
Plans for the future: Maybe get another job and move to a smaller house
Memories from Lawrence High Days: Band and other music classes, Mr. Wherry, Mr. Stuart, being shy, homecomings, and friends, friends, friends.

2005 Newsletter
Family: Widowed 5 years ago, one son, 3 grandchildren in Austin, and Cassie Dog.  Have been in banking the last 30 years and plan on retiring in 2006.  Looking forward to more travel, going to Austin a lot, golf, working in my yard and house and volunteering.
